Compelled by their healing and transformation
Dear Friends,
I am in constant awe of the powerful testimonies that come out of every Empower workshop that is held. It is a privilege for us to be part of the healing and transformation that is taking part in the lives of the participants who take part in the Empower program, and it is a joy for me to share some of their stories with you in this newsletter:
Lenata’s Story
“I noticed radical changes when he (my husband) participated in this workshop. Of course I didn’t know the content of the workshop, but now I came to know that the teachings of Empower are powerful and change people.”
These are the inspiring words of Lenata, a survivor of the Rwandan Genocide Against the Tutsi. After attending a recent Empower program, Lenata shared her testimony of resilience and healing with the CARSA facilitators who run these trauma healing workshops throughout the year. Through the Empower program, people begin to engage with their trauma and embark on a journey of hope and healing. Lenata and her husband are one of many courageous men and women who have taken bold steps to move towards wholeness.
We invite you to read more about Lenata’s powerful testimony and story of hope by hopping over to our blog
