Carlyle Eugine Peter Ranasinghe (1932-2025) of O’Keefe Street, North Cairns, most dearly loved husband of Karin; loved father of Deszree, Patricia, Peter, Nilanthi and Elizabeth; loved father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather of their families; loved son of Peter Ranasinghe and Florence Wijeratne; loved brother of Elaine, Rita, Dinty, Patrick and Clarence; loved brother-in-law of Gaston, Walter, Persis and Valerie; loved uncle of Nimal, Chanaka, Dushyantha, Sharmini, Samantha, Namiko, Bandula, Dinesh, Nihal, Rohith, Chantel and Damian.
Carlyle passed away peacefully with the immediate family around him at 6 PM on 24 January 2025 at the age of 92 years.
