The “Bappi Da Nite”
It gives me great pleasure to announce that I will be hosting Sydney’s first tribute concert to the lost legend BAPPI LAHIRI on SAT 7th MAY, at the Pioneer Theater, Castle Hill.
If you did enjoy our last sold-out Lata Mangeshkar Tribute, then you will love this tribute to Bappi Da. He was much more than just a disco king. He has composed extraordinary emotional melodies too – “Manaa Ho Tum”. “Tumhara Pyaar Chahiye, Mujhe Jeene Ke Liye”, “Chalte Chalte” and the list goes on.
In this upcoming concert, we have created a list that packs the entire rainbow of his songs including the best of his dance hits like “Rumba Ho”, “Jawani Jaane Mann”, “OOo LaLa”, “Nainon Mein Sapna”, “Bambai Se Aayaa Mera Dost” and many others. In fact, we have reduced the seating capacity to include a dance floor!
The concert will feature some of the best-known voices in Sydney Dilip Bhave, Sadiq Rehmani, Shivangi Doshi, Jasmin Gill and yours truly. And the complex orchestration will be provided by Sydney’s top band JAZBA, featuring the incredible guest lead guitar virtuoso VIR CHAND! The sound engineering and lights management will be provided by AET (Abdul Sajwani).
