Training Vision

The ICC Academy in Dubai provided the perfect setting for the Australian squad’s initial preparations. With its state-of-the-art facilities, players were able to work on both batting and bowling techniques suited to Sri Lankan pitches. The focus of the session included mastering spin bowling and refining shot selections, which are key to success in Sri Lanka.

The coaching staff emphasized acclimatizing to the hot and humid conditions, replicating the challenging atmosphere the players will face in Sri Lanka. Senior players also played an active role, mentoring the younger members of the squad on coping with these conditions and maintaining peak performance during the series.
