Ruwan Kumara had shown interests to music not inherited from parents perhaps with innate talent. Though he had been beating on the desks and singing unfortunately the teachers; had not identified his talent. However his mother had noticed his talent had encouraged him to sing and rendered a huge backing.She had even taken bank loans to pursue a career recording songs and then music videos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Ruwan had studied music under musician Romesh Sugathapala also from Kandy area and studied up to Visharada level.Ruwan had a craze to listen to all types of songs and music from the radio and other sources had had an ambition to be a popular singing personality. Ruwan had participated in the Sirasa Super Star reality contest in year 2011 where he had been selected among the final one hundred contestants for which he was\u00a0 very contented as he had learnt more for his singing career which had been his life\u2019s ultimate dream. Ruwan is employed at CBL as particularly as he needs money to spend for his music endeavours. One of his music videos the duet song with Nimanthi\u00a0 Chamodini had been selected among the first twenty five in the Derana Music awards\u00a0 four hundred music videos. His songs are been played in many FM radio channels like Hiru FM,Sha FM, Rhythm FM ,Derana FM etc.But he says he has not been guided and supported by our media which he regrets. Most of his songs have been acclaimed by many audiences from the time when his maiden song was recorded in year 2014\u00a0 \u201cPata Gewa Adare\u201d the lyrics were by Danushka Kumaratunga, music was by Ruwan Meegahawatta.Ruwan did not take much time to record his second song a duet with Nimanthi Chamodini a Derana Drea Star season 2 a competent vocalist. The lyrics of this song \u201cNolebena Adare\u2019 was penned by Sathsara Kasun and music by Duleep Miranda..<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Ruwan\u2019s third song was in year 2018 \u201cSenasumak Patha\u201dthe lyrics were by Ruwan Meegahawatta.music composition were also of Ruwan Meegahawatta.The fourth song of Ruwan was in year 2020\u00a0 titled \u201cObe Ruwa\u201d the lyrics were penned jointly by Ruwan himself and his younger sister Sandunika Ranasinghe, while the music composition was by Sanjula Himala,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-121302 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/RUWAN-KUMARA-ALREADY-A-SHINING-SINGING-STAR-By-Sunil-Thenabadu-eLanka-2-e1694775666545.jpeg\" alt=\"RUWAN KUMARA ALREADY A SHINING SINGING STAR - By Sunil Thenabadu\" width=\"600\" height=\"851\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Ruwan\u2019s fifth and last song released recently is titled \u201c Sagare Tharam\u201d is also a duet\u00a0 his second duet song Imasha Muthucumaru who is well known for singing her song \u2018Sandak wenna Beri Nam\u2019, the lyrics were by Radika Madushan and music composition by Nilan Fernando.This duet has gone to many followers very fast for which Ruwan is elated and with this he hopes to launch more songs for the listening pleasure of his followers.Ruwan intends to combine with Shehan Mihiranga for a joint creation which is now been discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">A song was\u00a0 sung as a \u2018Hindi cover song; \u2018Sagare Tharam\u2019 also a duet with Imasha Madukumari, lyrics were by Randika Madushan and music by Nilan Fernando.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Ruwan Kumara Ranasinghe remains humble though he is popular, could be contacted on his mobile 0768758118 .His journey in music has now reached to\u00a0 tall elevations ,with his name been known well among music lovers and musicians with his songs constantly been heard in many local FM radio channels constantly.
