It is my 95<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0birthday, and as I reminisce about the past, I realise there is so much to be grateful for with all the blessings I have received.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Should I number them one by one it will surely surprise me what the Lord has done!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Firstly, I thank God for our journey together and for being my companion when facing life\u2019s joys and challenges and providing me with all I need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">I am grateful to my parents for nurturing me in the love and\u00a0knowledge of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">I am thankful to my dear wife Claudette (my soul mate), daughter Fiona and son Chris for their concern, love and support and for accepting me for who I am.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">I am thankful to my extended family and friends for their fellowship and for the good times we have been privileged to enjoy together collecting many happy memories. Also not forgetting the Evergreens\u00a0and my email contacts.\u00a0Thank you for your encouragement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">My recipe for a long life is to cultivate a heart of gratitude to God for His forgiveness, presence, strength, love and grace in every circumstance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NT0HcAr9aeI?si=ggJz18-fxfZGbkVd\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">There have been circumstances that have shifted my focus from God and worn me down: physical ailments, illness, grief, loss, and the stress of daily life. \u00a0But when I think about facing these things, I often consider them through a lens of gratitude.
