They were the core group behind the journal\u00a0<strong>YOUNG CEYLON<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>1850-53.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Lorenz was also a central figure behind the launching of\u00a0<strong>THE EXAMINER\u00a0<\/strong>newspaper\u00a0<strong>i<\/strong>n the year 1859 and we are fortunate to have a photograph showing its founding fathers: viz Lorenz in the centre,\u00a0<strong>Samuel Grenier<\/strong>\u00a0(standing)\u00a0 and\u00a0<strong>Leopold Ludovic<\/strong>i (sitting) on Lorenz\u2019s right ; \u2026. and \u2026.<strong>\u00a0James Stewart Drieberg<\/strong>\u00a0(standing) and\u00a0<strong>Francis Beven\u00a0<\/strong>(sitting) on his left.
