On the 8th\u00a0<\/span>September\u00a02024 the Dematagoda Christian Guild\u00a0<\/span>commemorated the 90th Anniversary of its legacy and as I began to\u00a0reminisce\u00a0it brought back happy memories that kept flashing through my mind and I am happy to share it<\/span>\u00a0with you. I was reminded of its \u00a0Motto:\u2014\u201cBy Love serve One Another\u201d\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>focussed on 1 Corinthians:13. and the song that went with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

1 Angry words! oh, let them never
\nFrom the tongue unbridled slip:
\nMay the heart’s best impulse ever
\nCheck them ere they soil the lip.<\/span><\/p>\n
