SELF INFLICTED PROBLEM BY EUROPE,USA AND CANADA – By N.S.Venkataraman<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\"N.S.Venkataraman\"The truck attack\u00a0 in the French Quarter of New Orleans in USA on New Year\u2019s Day \u00a0killed atleast 15 innocent people and wounded another 30 innocent people\u00a0 . A tesla cyber truck was carried out \u00a0to attack Trump Hotel in Los Vegas in USA when one person was killed.\u00a0\u00a0 Recently, A SUV\u00a0\u00a0 was driven into a Christmas market in Germany that killed 5 people.\u00a0 Apart from these attacks , several other terrorist attacks have been reported in Europe, USA and Canada in recent months.\u00a0\u00a0 Such terrorist attacks\u00a0 do \u00a0not cause any visible shock around the world\u00a0 anymore , as such terrorist \u00a0attacks \u00a0in one part of Europe, USA\u00a0 Canada or the other, \u00a0appear to become the order of the day in recent time..\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fact that cannot be missed is that \u00a0in all such terrorist activities , Islamic extremists ( now increasingly being \u00a0termed as Islamic terrorists ) have been involved in carrying the terrorist acts.\u00a0\u00a0 What is the cause for such terrorist attacks now ?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The fact is that some Islamic groups such as\u00a0\u00a0 the Islamic State ( IS) and several other Islamic extremist groups seem to have\u00a0 faith in violence and physical assaults, which they seem to think would help \u00a0in spreading the domination of Islam religion around the world.\u00a0 What is also noteworthy is that these Islamic extremists have loyalty to \u00a0their religion which cannot be found fault with. However, the loyalty\u00a0 to \u00a0the country where they are citizens are comparatively much less. In other words , the extremists \u00a0do not think it to be wrong to launch attacks and disturb peace in the country where they are citizens , if they think that such attacks would help the cause of their \u00a0religion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Certainly, Holy Quran in its original\u00a0 version preach only love and compassion and do not approve violent means.\u00a0 Most of the Muslims in the world today do not approve the violent methods adopted by Islamic extremists\u00a0 but \u00a0they remain as silent majority. Obviously, a very small group of Islamic extremists are having false notions and causing violent attacks but\u00a0 they are doing enough damage that cause huge concern around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

In such conditions, it is now clear that the\u00a0 earlier \u00a0policy of European countries , particularly Germany which welcomed the migrants from several Islamic countries on compassionate ground\u00a0 without adequate check and control\u00a0\u00a0 have enabled several Islamic extremists to get foothold in Europe\u00a0 and create problems.\u00a0 Similar situation has happened in Canada also. In Europe, USA and Canada , there\u00a0 are also said to be significant \u00a0population of illegal migrants\u00a0 and\u00a0 U S President elect Trump has repeatedly pointed out this. Most of these illegal migrants may not be violent prone people but certainly some extremist\u00a0 groups in small number too could have got into this migrant crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, it is widely realised\u00a0 by governments and people in Europe, USA and Canada that unchecked entry of\u00a0 migrant population have become a deep rooted problem with no immediate \u00a0\u00a0feasible solution and which is now causing social tension and law and order scenario in these regions.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is necessary that governments in\u00a0 Europe, Canada\u00a0 and\u00a0 USA,\u00a0\u00a0 should put the heads together and create a task force to identify the violent prone Islamic extremists and deal with them in an appropriate way to ensure social peace in the countries. The problem has become too serious now, as these affected countries do not have any particular strategy to deal with the violent prone individuals .\u00a0 Iif such situation were to continue any longer , the \u00a0social harmony in these countries would\u00a0 suffer to a level beyond redemption.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not proper to carry out any campaign against Islam religion but certainly a campaign against Islamic extremists\u00a0 is called for. As strong campaign must also be made amongst peace loving Muslims to strongly come out and condemn this terrorist attacks, instead of remaining as helpless observers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn any case,, it is now clear that\u00a0\u00a0 by launching attack on Christmas crowd and New Year\u2019s \u00a0Day , the terrorists have a given a signal that they would not become less violent and attacks would become more frequent in the year 2025. This is a signal that cause concern and require immediate counter action.<\/span><\/p>\n
