Kym gives many copies away and also sells a lot, but more importantly, he blesses those he meets.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Hey discovered the power of spoken blessings many years ago. He now speaks life, releasing God\u2019s goodness, into every daily interaction. Mike also disciples others into the \u2018Way of Blessing\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>He writes:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFrom the very beginning, God blessed. In the opening verses of Genesis, we hear the voice of the Creator speaking light, life, and love into being. Before there was striving, there was blessing. Before there was mission, there was communion. Blessing is not an afterthought \u2013 it is the first word spoken over creation, over covenant, and over community.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThroughout Scripture, blessing flows not as a formula, but as a way of life. Isaac blessed Jacob. Jacob blessed his sons. Moses blessed the tribes. David blessed the assembly. Solomon blessed the nations gathered at the temple. The prophets cried out with blessing and promised more to come.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAnd then, one day, blessing walked among us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cJesus\u2026 \u00a0blessed children, the poor, the persecuted, the peacemakers. He blessed bread and fish. He blessed the hands of the humble. He lived as a blessing and gave Himself as the ultimate blessing \u2013 poured out at the cross, risen in glory.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAnd now, through His Spirit, that blessing continues.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, I was finishing up at a client\u2019s home. I gave her my usual maintenance kit, which includes a Gospel of John. I pointed out that this is a biography of the greatest man alive and is very much worth reading.<\/p>\n<p>She was grateful and shared that she is a Christian but doesn\u2019t say anything \u2013 she\u2019s afraid of saying the wrong thing and driving people away from God.<\/p>\n<p>I was able to offer her a pathway that might be less confronting. I suggested she prayer walk her local street and intentionally bless each family as she passed their home. She could pause to see if the Holy Spirit gave some insight or impression.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-153940 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/unnamed-2025-06-10T223309.553.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Jesus, may we walk in Your Way of Blessing.
