{"id":29544,"date":"2018-09-28T04:10:15","date_gmt":"2018-09-28T04:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/?p=29544"},"modified":"2018-09-28T04:14:05","modified_gmt":"2018-09-28T04:14:05","slug":"golden-memories-by-des-kelly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/golden-memories-by-des-kelly\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;GOLDEN MEMORIES&#8221; \u2013 By Des Kelly"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"x_-499161380MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>&#8220;GOLDEN MEMORIES&#8221; \u2013 By Des Kelly<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pdvuOFOmCLY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_-499161380MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #3366ff;\">Following on, from my story of the &#8220;Greatest Guitarists&#8221;, as I see them, here is another younger, but equally good Musician, who has given me the pleasure of listening to him play his guitar, not only with amazing skill, but, with a sense of what I would term &#8220;flawless-feeling&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"x_-499161380MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Mark Freuder Knopfler, born on the 12th of August, 1949, is a British Singer, song-writer, composer, record producer &amp; film score composer recipient of an Order of the British Empire (O.B.E), but, most importantly, one of the more superb latter-day guitarists that has graced the field of &#8220;Music&#8221;, as we know it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"x_-499161380MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0He founded the famous &#8220;Dire Straits&#8221; band in 1977, with younger brother David, played both rhythm &amp; lead guitar, as needed, and, in addition also vocalized on many unforgettable songs. To make a long story short, Mark Knopfler who was active in Showbiz, as a &#8220;solo&#8221; artiste from 1965 (since he was 16 years of age), has gone on, to become a celebrated icon, popular with everyone who has had the chance to see him perform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p class=\"x_-499161380MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #3366ff;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Although Stars such as Knopfler, Atkins, Paul, &amp; others have recorded dozens of songs, vocal &amp; instrumental, my &#8220;GOLDEN MEMORIES&#8221; concentrate on just two sentimental pieces, as far as I am concerned.
