color: #0000ff;\">Koch was among last year\u2019s considerations for the \u2018Oscar\u2019 and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his haunting role in \u2018According to Matthew\u2019.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #0000ff;\">He won The CIGNIS award for best actor in 2019 and the Derana \u2018Sri Lankan of the Year\u2019 award.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #0000ff;\">His movie \u2018According To Matthew\u2019 was the most talked about movie in Sri Lanka while running to full houses in cinemas across the island for 75 days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #0000ff;\">A much-sought after singer in past Academy Award celebrations and the performer of many original songs with hits worldwide and an album that climbed to the number two spot in the Australian and international charts, Koch has also performed the national anthem of Australia, Sri Lanka and America in official functions representing all three countries and this is a rare feat that must be recognised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-41545\" src=\"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Alston-Koch.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"739\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Alston Koch<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; Resorts and the Sri Lankan community.\u00a0\u00a0<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #0000ff;\">A huge Ambassador for Climate Change and an Ambassador for Sri Lanka Tourism Alston Koch was hailed as the \u2018Purveyor of Disco and Soul\u2019 music in the Southern Hemisphere by the World Rock music Historian Glenn A Baker in his popular book \u2018DISCO INFERNO\u2019 and Australian Record Industry Association (ARIA) called him the \u2018Funk Master\u2019 when his album \u2018DON\u2019T FUNK WITH ME\u2019 hit the pop charts.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;
