<\/a><\/p>\n“Embroidery is so good for your mind and is very relaxing, which is why it is good therapy,\u2019\u2019 Mrs Vittachi said.
\n\u201cI used to do a lot of charity work back home, working with special schools, seniors groups,\u2019\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
Her proud husband said she even had a regular feature in the Woman\u2019s Weeklypaper<\/em> in Sri Lanka and had a part on a television program.<\/p>\nShe specialises in quiltmaking, embroidery work, cross stitch and is happy to work with people on what they want created.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt the moment I am not as busy as I would like to be,\u2019\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, I have only started doing my embroidery here for the past seven months, so it is early days.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
She would love to hear from any schools or seniors groups which would be interested in her teaching or hosting a class.<\/p>\n
