UK seems to be the highest <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">tea drinkers in the world and then comes the middle East countries. People in US seems <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">to drink more coffee than tea.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Caffeine is a drug that is very similar in action to theophylline which is a bronchodilator <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">drug. It is given to asthmatics to open the airways and relieve the wheezing, coughing <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">and breathlessness in asthma. Caffeine found in coffee and tea, can act as a <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">bronchodilator.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">In 1993, Dr. Scott T. Weis of Harvard Medical School studied 20,000 asthma patients <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">and found that those who regularly drank coffee suffered one-third fewer symptoms than <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">those who did not drink.
