In a year like no other, the diverse contribution of home-grown writers is more important than ever.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Minister Fletcher said that the annual awards\u00a0recognised Australian authors and the important role of Australian literature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">\u201cThe awards endorse a national appreciation of Australian literature and increase our understanding of Australian history.
