Such was the mettle \u2013 grace \u2013 and \u00a0absolute GENTILITY of the teachers and men of learning of that era.\u00a0 I then had the privilege of being subsequently tutored by the equally legendary David Paynter \u00a0of whom I also sketched a portrait and mailed him the drawing.\u00a0 Unfortunately I failed to keep a copy of it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><strong>Deo Gratias<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><strong>Max<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\"><strong>PS&#8230;My FIRST and MOST BELOVED Art-master and Guru .. was Mr.K.S.Perera \u2013 the Art teacher at my Alma-Mater (St.Benedict\u2019s\u00a0 College , Kotahena) when I was a student there
