While my own dear Mum is now long gone, (God bless her), there would doubtless be thousands of Mothers in Australia, whose families will be getting ready to celebrate this very special day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Please let me add to these celebrations by reminding everyone that, while they are living, EVERY DAY should be Mother&#8217;s day, simply because we would not be HERE without them. Always give your parents, both Mother and Father all the respect they so richly deserve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Many many moons ago, I remember singing a song dedicated to Mum, on Radio Ceylon. It is now just one of those &#8220;good old songs&#8221; that very few would remember, so, for EVERY MOTHER out there, here are the lyrics I sang, and now dedicate to all of you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">M is for the Million things you gave me<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">O means that you now, are growing Old<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">T is for the Tears you shed to save me<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">H is for your Heart of pure gold\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">E is for your Eyes,with lovelight shining<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">R is Right, and Right, you&#8217;ll always be\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Put them all together,they spell Mother<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">The word that means the World to me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 There is another ancient song called&#8221;Mother, the Queen of my heart&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">but I think I will leave that until next year (hopefully).
