{"id":66122,"date":"2021-06-03T15:21:40","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T15:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/?p=66122"},"modified":"2021-06-03T15:22:57","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T15:22:57","slug":"maritime-disaster-by-des-kelly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/websitedesigns.com.au\/elankanew\/maritime-disaster-by-des-kelly\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;MARITIME DISASTER&#8221; \u2013 By Des Kelly"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8220;MARITIME DISASTER&#8221; \u2013 <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">By Des Kelly<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SoYQLOh6_rk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">What is going to happen next ??.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Sri Lanka did manage to keep Corona Virus mostly at bay, after the bug left China to take over as a Global Pandemic, taking the lives of millions of people and suffocating millions of others to the point of no return.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">Suddenly, for no specific reason, Covid 19 started to worsen in this tiny Island, restrictions were duly toughened, curfews and lockdown introduced in an effort to at least contain the virus, unfortunately, to no effect, and then,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">like a blast from the blue, comes a much more dangerous &#8220;Indian strain&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">of the same bug, obviously airborne from India, the Island Continent closest to the teardrop of the Indian Ocean, giving Sri Lanka another dose of far worse suffering plus additional deaths,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">now mounting more quickly as each day passes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 As if all this wasn&#8217;t enough, we have this new Maritime disaster to cope with, because of a ship catching fire just off the Coast of the Island, then sinking, and, in the process\u00a0 spreading debris for kilometres around the beaches and making it almost\u00a0 impossible for cleaners to do their job on the mess because each time they think they have got a certain area under control and move onto the next, the day following sees the area just cleaned, right back in it&#8217;s original mess<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px; color: #000000;\">once again.
