We need him to guide us through the dim streets of this world, steering us through all its cracks and cliffs. We need someone to inch alongside us. As darkness falls, we need one whose presence can be our light. \u201c<em>In him was life, and the life was the light of men<\/em>\u201d (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/John%201.4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/John%25201.4&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641124637992000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3zqO0AJrOfadLU5wAyHG0a\">John 1:4<\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Such a one, the perfect one, came from the brilliance of heaven\u2019s throne into our night. With him, our eyes do not need to see the path ahead, though it be filled with twists and turns. We need but see the King in his beauty. He is our Way. He is our Truth. He is our Life. We behold him. And though the narrow road to glory leads through the valley of the shadow of death \u2014 for our Shepherd leads us there \u2014 we shall fear no evil,\u00a0<em>for he is with us always \u2014 even to the end of the age<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Although we have not yet seen Jesus with our physical eyes, the eyes of our hearts have beheld him and loved him, and rejoiced \u201cwith joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory\u201d (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/1%20Pet%201.8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/1%2520Pet%25201.8&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641124637992000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2uocAvpDvdUHTZNvBnaw66\">1 Peter 1:8<\/a>). We hear his voice over our shoulders. As we hope in him and consider which way to turn, his Spirit dwells within us, saying, \u201cThis is the way, walk in it\u201d (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Isa%2030.21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Isa%252030.21&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641124637992000&amp;usg=AOvVaw218-iGTFsTQctduSaeg5IR\">Isaiah 30:21<\/a>). And our faces too, radiate with a joy that proves our trust in him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #000000;\"><strong>Take My Hand<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u201cI, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, \u2018Fear not, I am the one who helps you\u2019\u201d (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Isa%2041.13\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/Isa%252041.13&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641124637992000&amp;usg=AOvVaw36ODVxmX8AAY5tV2gycgVy\">Isaiah 41:13<\/a>).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\">Soon, this world, with all its shadows and ditches, shall fade away. And we, seeing only dimly now, will see him face to face (<a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/1%20Cor%2013.12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/biblia.com\/bible\/esv\/1%2520Cor%252013.12&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1641124637992000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3xGRpaOV4lc99GidrZNdsK\">1 Corinthians 13:12<\/a>).
