Travelling during the pandemic can be a challenge with rules changing at the drop of a hat.<\/span><\/p>\n

To avoid a costly trip, travellers are advised to check before they visit another country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some destinations may require visitors to be fully vaccinated, to\u00a0submit evidence<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>of their jab status and to also provide a negative PCR test upon arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n

So it\u2019s better to get all your ducks in a row before heading to the airport and ending up being disappointed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a look at the travel restrictions and requirements if you\u2019re planning to visit India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.<\/span><\/p>\n

India<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Regularly scheduled international flights to India are suspended.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

However, a bilateral agreement between UK and Indian governments means that a limited number of flights between the two countries are operating.Before travelling to India, passengers will be required to present a self-declaration form and show a negative test within 72 hours before travel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once travellers arrive in the country, they will be subject to thermal screening and will need to submit a test on arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n

The results of the test will be given at the airport therefore, travellers must wait for them before leaving the airport.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s important to know the latest travel rules and Covid restrictions if you’re planning on going away<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

If the COVID-19 test is negative travellers will be required to home quarantine for seven days.<\/span><\/p>\n

A further COVID-19 test is required on the eighth day of arrival in India and if the eighth-day test is negative, travellers should self-monitor their health for the next 7 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any travellers testing positive for COVID-19 will have to undergo treatment and further monitoring at a separate isolation facility.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pakistan<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Since May 5, Pakistan has restricted the number of international flights to and from the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travellers over the age of six will need to provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR test.<\/span><\/p>\n

The test will need to be taken up to 48 hours before travelling.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who are aged 18 or over will need to be fully vaccinated in order to take inbound flights to Pakistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 31 January 2022, Pakistani passport holders aged 15 and above will require full vaccination to enter Pakistan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travellers entering Pakistan by air will be required to take a Rapid Antigen test on arrival at airports.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who test positive will be moved to quarantine at a self-paid facility for 10 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

A PCR test will be conducted on the eighth day of quarantine and if it is negative, the passenger to head to their destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the test is positive, travellers will be subject to a further quarantine period or a move to the hospital if required.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travellers to Pakistan will also be required to provide their contact information through the Pass Track App or through a web-based form.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travellers may also have to fill in a health declaration form on arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n
