As we grow older, most of us tend to get sceptical about the happenings around us, so here, Ladies & Gentlemen, are 12 Commandments, written on ordinary paper rather than stone, sent out to us by Keith Bennett, for our individual perusal. Please read them carefully to avoid deep, dire consequences, and thank you Keith, for the advice.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

TWELVE COMMANDMENTS FOR SENIORS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

#1 – Talk to yourself. There are times\u00a0you need expert advice.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#2 – \u201cIn Style\u201d are the clothes that\u00a0still fit.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#3 – You don’t need anger\u00a0management.\u00a0You need people to\u00a0stop pissing you off.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#4 – Your people skills are just fine.\u00a0It’s your tolerance for idiots that\u00a0 needs work.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#5 – The biggest lie you tell yourself\u00a0 is, \u201cI don’t need to write that\u00a0down. I’ll remember it.\u201d<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#6 – \u201cOn time\u201d is when you get there.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#7 – Even duct tape can’t fix stupid,\u00a0but it sure does muffle the\u00a0sound.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#8 – It would be wonderful if we<\/b>\u00a0could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes, then come out\u00a0wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#9 – Lately, you’ve noticed people\u00a0your age are so much older than\u00a0 you.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#10 – Growing old should have taken\u00a0longer.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#11 – Aging has slowed you down,\u00a0 \u00a0but hasn’t shut you up.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

#12 – You still haven’t learned to act\u00a0your age and hope you never\u00a0will.<\/b><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
