The pandemic created numerous stressors on employees; personal, mental, and financial. As a result, people were forced to re-examine the role of work in their own lives. With many workers resigning from their jobs in the mid stages of the pandemic, companies had to rethink how to create the ideal environment to retain talent. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"viewer-ni69\" class=\"mm8Nw _1j-51 iWv3d _1FoOD _78FBa b+iTF iWv3d public-DraftStyleDefault-block-depth0 fixed-tab-size public-DraftStyleDefault-text-ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"_2PHJq public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" style=\"font-size: 16px; color: #000000;\"><strong>By the latter half of 2021, as the economic cycle started to pick up, companies finally had some breathing room \u2013 giving more focus to managing people rather than purely making profits.
